Judith Platz, Ed.S., Manager
has overall responsibility for the organization, direction and administration of all Student Services related functions of the school district. This includes attendance, clothing bank, discipline, health services, homeless program, foreign exchange student placement, FWCS student placement, transfers, education verification and Section 504.Alice Andrews, Secretary
Alice is responsible for clerical functions as well as maintains all financial records and works on assignments as directed for the department. She is responsible for the processing, billing and record keeping of all transfer certificates from group homes and agencies.Janet Daugherty, Secretary
Janet is responsible for clerical functions and works on assignments as directed for the department. She maintains and is responsible for processing and scheduling all due process hearings, processing Section 504 placements and private tuition contracts.Sheila Curry, Secretary
Sheila is responsible for clerical functions and works on assignments as directed for the department. She is responsible for processing elementary and secondary transfer requests, kindergarten early entrance waivers and has overall responsibility for maintaining records for delinquency affidavits for truancy that are filed with SOCAP.Mary Hess, RN, BSN, NCSN, Health Specialist
Mrs. Hess coordinates FWCS student health services in accordance with district and Indiana State Laws. She is responsible for the selection and assignment of nurses, system of record keeping, state and local reports, and the development of applicable policies. She serves as the liaison for FWCS with Parkview and other community health agencies and provides nursing services for the Anthis Career Center.Jessie Tarkington, Secretary
Jessie is responsible for all clerical functions as assigned by the Health Services Specialist in preparing district and state reports.School Nurses
School nurses provide health services to students and serve as a health consultant to students and staff. They maintain cumulative health records for students and serve as liaison between the school, home and public health/welfare agencies on matters related to student health.Kayata Earley, Administrative Assistant
Kayata is responsible for coordinating Title 1 Pre-K placements with other FWCS departments. She assists with enrollment, delinquency affidavits, and student placement. She works on assignments as directed for the department.Nicole Burns, Clothing Bank Coordinator
Nicole is responsible for the daily operation of the FWCS Clothing Bank. Duties include promoting the program to local businesses, churches and community organizations. She serves as the liaison between FWCS and the PTA as well as maintains all records related to the clothing bank.
