Dan Bickel, MS
Elementary Area Administration
Daniel Bickel has been area administrator for FWCS since 2003. He currently supervises all 32 elementary schools.
Mr. Bickel joined FWCS in 1991 as principal of Weisser Park-Young Elementary School. In this role, he led efforts to restructure the arts curriculum and reorganize the arts program with the introduction of Whitney Young, now an arts-based early childhood center.
Prior to working for FWCS, Mr. Bickel held elementary teaching positions in Wabash County and administrative posts in Huntington. He is a graduate of Ball State University and holds his master's degree from Indiana University.
Honors and Awards
Mr. Bickel was the recipient of the prestigious Margaret Ann Keegan award from Arts United in 2001.
