Record Number: 8988     Displayed from: Aug 17 2012 12:00AM, until: Aug 20 2012 12:00AM

The first day of school for all children is a very important time. Indian Village is requesting parents to come with their students on the first day of school to celebrate while enjoying juice and donuts in the gym and connecting and reconnecting with friends, neighbors and new faces. Families are also invited to take a tour of the school and accompany children to their classrooms. From 8:15-9 a.m., as students enter the building, mmbers of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church will be at the school doors to greet students as they enter. Each student will receive a "It's my first day of school" sticker. An all-school assembly will take place at 10 a.m.
