Croninger students visit Merry Lea Environmental Center

All first-grade classes at Croninger Elementary School will participate in an outdoor adventure in learning about life on the farm many years ago. Students will visit Merry Lea Environmental Center from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. While there, they will learn about making apple cider, caring and feeding for farm animals, raising crops and gardening, and utilizing farm resources for many other life purposes. The students will also have a hot dog roast for lunch and enjoy a hayride through the natural sactuary for plants and animals of northern Indiana.
