Weisser Park students perform Egyptian musical

Fifth-grade students at Weisser Park Arts Magnet School will perform the musical, "Hatchepsut: Queen of Denial." The story is based on Hatchepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in Egypt. Every fifth-grade student contributes to the production by being involved as actors, singers, dancers, scenic design creators, puppet statue constructors, costume designers or box office leaders. An evening performance for friends and family will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the South Side High School auditorium. A performance for the school body will be held in the morning.
