Croninger students visit pumpkin patch

Croninger Elementary first-graders will expand on what they learned their recent science unit on new plants when they visit Kurtz Produce in New Haven for "pumpkin school" from 9:15-11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 4 There, children will learn about the life cycle of pumpkin and the squash family. Students will then take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to select their own pumpkin to take back to class with them! Additional science and math activities will culminate the field trip at school.
