Indian Village students visit Kurtz Pumpkin Farm

Special Education studets from Indian Village will travel to Kurtz Pumpkin Farm in New Haven on Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 9:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Students will tour the farm and participate in centers that will be set up at the farm to explore produce and farm activities, learn how plants and farm vegetation grow and how a produce farm operates and what it takes to plant, grow and harvest pumpkins. They will also get to choose a pumpkin from the field.
