Lincoln hosts parent literacy workshop

Project READS, a program of the Allen County Education Partnership, will offer a program for parents from 5:30-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 15, at Lincoln. The program consists of two 2-hour workshop sessions for parents of pre-kindergarten through second grade students. Retired school teachers lead the sessions that teach academic skills as well as communication and nurturing skills for young learners. Call 423.6447 to register. Parents who attend two sessions can receive free family-friendly books, games and materials.
