Harris students visit Safety Village

Harris kindergarten students will visit Safety Village Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 9-11:30 a.m. to learn about pedestrian safety. They will learn the safe way to cross the street and be able to ride power wheels through a miniature city. Students will then write about their experience.

With nearly 31,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is Indiana's largest school district. FWCS proudly allows families to choose any of its 51 schools through its successful school-choice program creating diversity in each school, including some with more than 75 languages spoken.
