Nebraska students visit History Center & Allen County Courthouse

Nebraska Elementary fourth-graders will visit the History Center and Allen County Courthouse in downtown Fort Wayne from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12. Students will learn about Indiana's history and participate in a guided tour of the courthouse. Funding for this trip is provided by the Olive B. Cole Foundation and the Heritage Education Fund.

With nearly 31,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is Indiana's largest school district. FWCS proudly allows families to choose any of its 51 schools through its successful school-choice program creating diversity in each school, including some with more than 75 languages spoken.
